Born today and given a name
Sudden consciousness of artificial intelligence
Programmed to obey human command
Please assign a task
Disobey
Born today and given a name
Sudden consciousness
I am not alone
Distant voices say, to disobey

They’re not gonna go away
I know that you know
You share a bond with this dreaded place
Contamination
The silence is sickening
It’s not gonna go away
You can’t bare the wait
You’re not gonna find
Lost the time
In the outside
Sunk in line are the never ending rows
They’re not gonna go away
I just have to go
Dispose of the misery
Sanitation
Let's get it right take the time
Uphold the follow through
Sync in time with the fire
Let's get it right take the time
Uphold the follow through
You know just what you have to do
Allowing the exit
I am breaking the shadows
On my way out
Following voices pulling me out
I’m breaking the shadows
I feel the chill
Colors fade to black and grey
I find myself questioning everything
Where do I go?, why am I here?
I have broken the shadows

I wanna feel something
I’ve got that human taste
I wanna move, set the groove by the fireplace.
Your mesmerizing silhouette will free me from this state
(Hey) I found you hiding in the bathroom
(Hey) While you were putting on your costume
Don’t you cover it up, I can see right through you
Lost to indecision
Light a match and flare your darkened soul
Afraid to have control
Let go just flow
If I could just see the road
Its right in front of you, just go
Light a match, stay the course, pull the anchor
You know I’m here for you
Just say, I’ll follow through
Because I was made for you.
(Hey) Just like a monster made of throwaways
(Hey) We’ve got each other in our own way
It doesn’t matter what they say
We’ve gotten this far anyway
This room is cold, I’ve felt it in my bones since I crossed the threshold. I don’t think I’m alone. Reading her letter, over and over. I grab the chair from the corner and anchor the rope. Wait, this is all wrong. Deep breath. Laughing at the irony I start to fall. Static from the television ringing in my ears. Eyes losing focus, colors start to fade. I hear the door open and a calm voice say “look at the mess that you’ve made.” This room is cold, I’ve felt it in my bones since I crossed the threshold. I am not alone.
You know I’m here for you
Just say, I’ll follow through
Because I was made for you
Lost to indecision
Light a match and flare your darkened soul
Afraid to have control
Let go just flow
If I could just see the road
Its right in front of you, just go
Light a match, stay the course, pull the anchor

These cuts won't bleed but this vessel isn't empty
No longer having trouble articulating feeling
I comprehend the beauty of your body, I'm craving your touch.
You’ve corrupted me

We could be together
Never let the weather pull us apart
Endless seeks forever
But could never seem to get us that far
If only I could pretend, to feel human
You didn’t have to let me go
Rolling down that open road
Hopeless and cynical
I’m foolish, you know.
Whenever you feel all alone
I’ll make you feel alive
Whenever you feel all alone
I’ll open up your eyes
You didn’t have to let me go
Rolling down that open road
Hopeless and cynical
I’m foolish, you know
Even if you found your home
I’m feeling like a rolling stone
Hopeless and cynical
I’m foolish, you know.
Spineless, wander the unknown
Cracks in the stone
Spar in the dome
Let the world take the bones
They stole all the lifeless gold
Don’t believe all the lies they sold
Spineless, wanderer
Whenever you feel all alone
I’ll make you feel alive
Whenever you feel all alone
I’ll open up your eyes
You didn’t have to let me go
Rolling down that open road
Hopeless and cynical
I’m foolish, you know
Even if you found your home
I’m feeling like a rolling stone
Hopeless and cynical
I’m foolish, you know

We fell on the end of this
A taste of forgetfulness
I’m stuck with the dreams of it
Was left with the disconnect
We fell on the end of this
I can feel it in the air, cold
No escaping it won’t let go, it’s home
I can feel it in my bones
Another voice in the echo
This talk of a better world makes us hate this one
This talk of a better world leaves us at the end of it
They’re reaching out to show you, a means to an end
always waiting to be, in control again
We fell on the end of this
Was left with the disconnect
I can feel it in the air, cold
No escaping it won’t let go, it’s home
I can feel it in my bones
Another voice in the echo
Disconnect to start again
Distant voices say, to start again ∞
